Join us for an inspiring showcase of Wells Cathedral School’s finest young soloists as they compete for the chance to perform a concerto with the Symphony Orchestra at Wells Cathedral in July 2027.

Six senior pupils get the chance to show off their musicianship and virtuosity in the final. This years finalists are: Ezra – piano | Desarie – double bass | Lily – tuba | Naghi – violin | Ricky – percussion | Julia – flute.

With music from Jan Koetsier, Emmanuel Séjourné, Serge Koussevitzky, Karol Szymanowski, Robert Schumann and Cécile Chaminade.
